Ring Distaff

A Ring Distaff is a tool held on a finger that holds un-spun fiber above a drop spindle while spinning. The fiber is able to stay untangled while drafting. 
These are made in the following woods: maple, butternut, oak, black walnut, cherry. 
The exact sizes vary but are approximately 9”-10.75” long.
